Job description

Lowell General Hospital is currently seeking an Outpatient Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Pulmonary Medicine team.

The Nurse Practitioner will partner with the Pulmonary physicians to support a growing outpatient practice, providing advanced clinical care to patients with a variety of pulmonary conditions. Working collaboratively with pulmonologists, primary care physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals, the Nurse Practitioner will perform patient evaluations, manage treatment plans, coordinate follow-up care, provide patient education, and help enhance access to high-quality, patient-centered pulmonary care.

Who you are:

  • Graduate of an accredited and/or approved Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current license as a Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Pulmonary, respiratory, primary care, internal medicine, or related advanced practice experience preferred
  • Current certification in CPR required
  • A team player who is excited to work cooperatively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines to champion world-class patient satisfaction and support

This newly created position offers an excellent work-life balance with a four-day work week in an outpatient setting and no holidays, weekends, or night call responsibilities.

Lowell General Hospital is the largest community hospital within the Tufts Medicine Health System which also includes Tufts Medical Center and MelroseWakefield Healthcare.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $121,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, and internal equity.
