Job description

Description:

Company: Webster Dental Care Edison Park

Location: Chicago, IL

Job Type: Full-Time (Accepting Part-time applicants as well)

Webster Dental Care believes that exceptional oral health starts with outstanding education and preventative care. We don’t just look at teeth; we look at the whole person.

We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and collaborative Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who views their role as more than "just cleaning teeth." If you are a natural educator and a supportive team player who thrives in a positive, patient-first environment, we would love to meet you!

What You’ll Do (Your Impact):

Be a Patient Educator & Coach: Empower patients by customizing home-care routines, explaining the oral-systemic connection, and providing compassionate nutritional and lifestyle counseling.

Deliver Outstanding Preventive Care: Perform thorough screenings, periodontal charting, be proficient in taking digital radiographs & intraoral images, and perform prophy and periodontal services using a Cavitron.

Collaborate Seamlessly: Work hand-in-hand with our dentists and clinical team to co-diagnose, build comprehensive treatment plans, and foster a warm, welcoming environment for our patients. Deliver pre- and post-op instructions to patients.

Own Your Space: Maintain clinical notes, practice exceptional sterilization and infection control protocols, and keep your operatory running smoothly.

Who You Are:

A Supportive Collaborator: You are a true team player—adaptable, solution-oriented, and always willing to support a colleague when the day gets busy.

An Empathetic Communicator: You have a talent for putting anxious patients at ease and translating complex dental concepts into easy-to-understand, actionable advice.

Detail-Oriented & Clinical: You hold yourself to high clinical standards and take pride in thorough, high-quality patient care.

Credentialed: You possess an active Illinois Dental Hygienist License, Local Anesthesia certification, and CPR certification.

What We Offer:

Competitive Compensation:

  • Excellent hourly rate of $50-$55/+ a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Potential for commission bonuses.
  • Health, Vision, Dental, 401(k) matching, paid time off.
  • Continuing Education Allowance

True Support & Balance: Ample time allocated per patient (we respect your clinical pace and do not believe in rushing quality care).

A Positive Culture: A low-drama, highly supportive, and modern clinical environment where your voice is heard, and your expertise is respected.

How to Apply:

Ready to join a team that values your clinical skills and passion for education?

Please submit your resume and a brief note explaining why patient education is important to you at crystal.w@webster.dental or apply directly.

Webster Dental Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
