We are a growing organization expanding our internal IT capabilities and seeking an IT Support Engineer who thrives in a communicative, collaborative, and fast‑moving environment. In this role, you will manage a wide range of technical responsibilities, support daily IT operations, and work closely with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure smooth and reliable service delivery. This position offers significant opportunities for growth and advancement as our internal systems and infrastructure continue to evolve.
Core Responsibilities
  • Manage help desk requests from initial intake through resolution, providing timely and effective support
  • Evaluate and resolve technical issues independently while coordinating with the MSP for lower‑priority tasks or specialized support
  • Support Microsoft 365 administration including:
    • User provisioning and license assignments
    • Exchange Online configuration and troubleshooting
    • SharePoint and OneDrive access governance, permissions, and site structure
    • Microsoft Teams configuration, policies, and basic call flow management
    • Microsoft 365 security settings including MFA, conditional access, and device compliance
  • Troubleshoot and assist with networking components such as switches, wireless systems, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, and routing basics
  • Provision, configure, and monitor virtual machines and assist with environment improvements when needed
  • Utilize Microsoft Copilot tools to streamline tasks, enhance documentation, support troubleshooting workflows, and improve service desk efficiency
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation for systems, procedures, and support workflows
  • Collaborate with internal teams and MSP partners to ensure clear communication, expectations, and follow-through
  • Assist with IT projects such as migrations, upgrades, deployments, and broader infrastructure enhancements
  • Monitor endpoints, system updates, compliance states, and overall IT health
  • Identify recurring issues and make recommendations to improve user experience and system stability

Required Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of hands-on IT support or IT service desk experience
  • Ability to independently manage a full support workload with minimal guidance
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration
  • Practical experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, Wi-Fi)
  • Familiarity with virtualization concepts and VM operations
  • Experience interacting with or coordinating work through an MSP or outsourced IT provider
  • Strong communication skills and user-focused support approach
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and follow issues through to resolution

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience contributing to IT projects or operational improvements
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-assist tools
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Fundamentals (preferred but not required)

Soft Skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Reliable and self-directed work style
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Ability to adapt to a growing and evolving company environment

What We Offer
  • Clear opportunities for career growth and advancement
  • A supportive environment that values open communication and teamwork
  • The ability to shape and influence internal IT processes as the company expands
  • Exposure to a wide range of technologies and hands-on project involvement
