Information Technology Implementation Specialist
Location: Columbus, OH
PositionSummary
The Information Technology Implementation Specialist will plan, establish, and manage information technology (IT) projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects for the National Youth Advocate Program's La Jornada Program.
Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
Schedule: 40 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for hands-on project management for the La Jornada program's IT projects. Identifies, develops, and leads IT projects including all IT-related equipment and services for new office setups.
- Creates, manages, and executes project scope, schedule, resources, and change management initiatives.
- Proactively identifies IT risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Identifies needs and appropriate vendors, obtains quotes, recommends the best and most cost-effective solutions, contracts with vendors, and oversees the work through to completion.
- Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
- Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
- Analyzes and interprets data, processes, and systems related to assigned projects, communicates results, and recommends best-practices.
- Performs hands-on IT-related equipment configurations, installations, maintenance, and other duties.
- Provide direction to assigned internal staff if applicable, and direction and oversight to other internal staff, external contractors, vendors and other third-party personnel involved in IT projects. Maintains good relations with program staff located at each facility.
- If applicable, hires, trains and manages qualified and competent personnel.
- Maintains database and reports.
- Ensures all staff are trained according to company IT standards.
- Performs other duties as requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT project management.
- IT certifications demonstrating competence in networking, security, configuration preferred.
- 2 years of supervisory experience if managing staff is applicable.
- Strong leadership and program management skills, able to see opportunities and issues across a wide-ranging program of work.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of work with many stakeholders, participants and users.
- Uses logical processes to manage and priorities conflicting priorities with different types of benefits and opportunities.
