Job description

We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to provide dependable technical assistance for end users in Atwater, California within a healthcare environment. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can resolve day-to-day hardware, software, and account access issues while delivering responsive support across desktop and service desk functions. The role requires strong troubleshooting ability, hands-on experience with Microsoft operating systems, and a practical approach to user support in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver front-line technical support for employees by diagnosing and resolving desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues in a timely manner.
• Respond to service desk requests, document incidents accurately, and follow through to ensure problems are fully addressed.
• Support users working with Windows-based systems, including Windows 11 environments and related workstation issues.
• Manage user account access tasks within Active Directory, including password resets and basic provisioning activities.
• Track, assign, and maintain IT equipment records to support accurate asset inventory and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot common software, hardware, and connectivity problems while escalating more complex issues when needed.
• Provide deskside assistance when remote support is not sufficient, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
• Maintain clear communication with end users and internal teams regarding ticket status, resolutions, and next steps.• At least 2 years of experience in help desk, desktop support, or deskside support roles.
• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory for user account support, such as password resets and basic access administration.
• Familiarity with service desk ticketing processes and the ability to manage multiple support requests effectively.
• Experience performing basic technical troubleshooting across hardware, software, and user access issues.
