Job description


Primary purpose:
The Tallgrass Energy IT team is looking for an IT ERP Analyst III to provide support for our production, test, and development Oracle Fusion Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment and subledger modules, third-party commercial applications, and various web applications. This includes, but is not limited to, implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring and the development of system procedures. Additionally, he/she will develop customized applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX) and/or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and other software tools.
Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Serve as an expert technical resource for Oracle Fusion ERP (GL, AP, AR, CM, INV, SCM), HCM, and APEX/OIC.
  • Serve as lead of various projects to design and implement business initiatives.
  • Constantly collaborate with the IT ERP team and leadership to support team objectives, knowledge, and unity/loyalty.
  • Work closely with business users to understand requirements, develop solutions, and resolve complex system designs/issues.
  • Document system capabilities and process flows using flowcharts and summary descriptions of workflows.
  • Focus on learning Tallgrass applications, processing details, and continually looking for efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism.
  • Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal and listening skills.
  • Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.
  • Will work non-traditional hours as needed.
  • Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.
  • Other daily, weekly, monthly or special project duties as identified and defined.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related discipline.

Experience/Specific Knowledge:
  • Minimum of seven (7) years overall IT experience.
  • Minimum of four (4) years experience focusing on Oracle ERP system development, support, implementation and upgrades. Fusion experience is highly preferred but will consider EBS experience for the right candidate.
  • Minimum of four (4) years experience with SQL in Oracle and/or MS SQL.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience developing Oracle APEX applications (OIC experience preferred as well).
  • HCM experience preferred.
  • Exposure to Vertex a plus but not required.
  • Exposure to Talend 7.3/8 a plus but not required.
  • Exposure to EDM/EPM (ARCS, FCCS, EPBCS) a plus but not required.
  • Advanced proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience in the full product development life cycle.
  • Logical/analytical thinker with ability to utilize functional understanding of the various components of systems in conjunction with technical knowledge to identify effective and efficient problem resolutions.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills; must be able to maintain/manage professional communication with both business users and IT colleagues.
  • Ability to work well both individually with minimal supervision and in a team environment where the sharing of knowledge is highly regarded and expected.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines; working on multiple assignments and with varying priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate systems requirements verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in effectively communicating business and technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position:
  • MBA or MIS preferred.

Compensation:
  • The annual salary range for this position will be $105,000-$135,000/yr.
