IT Director

The brand was launched in October 2016, by Emma Grede and Khloé Kardashian, to empower all women to celebrate their bodies with confidence by offering high-quality designs in all sizes. What started as the largest denim launch in history, has evolved into an iconic and inclusive fashion line of denim, ready-to-wear, swim, and accessories.

As an IT Director, you will develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle. You will determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development. You will lead the preparation and installation of the solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

The IT Director reviews upcoming project deadlines and plans work activities around those dates and other obligations throughout an average shift. This can include testing & troubleshooting defects in coding done and collaboration with fellow software engineering employees for complex tasks like updating software systems or adding new ones.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete general tasks as assigned by IT management.
  • Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  • Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
  • Comply with project plans and industry standards
  • Ensure software is updated with latest features
  • Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment
  • Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in API's layer design and implementation.
  • Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
  • Experience designing interactive applications
  • Ability to develop software in Java, Ruby on Rails, C++ or other programming languages
  • Knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
  • Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
  • Experience with test-driven development
  • Proficiency in software engineering tools
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications

Please note that this role requires to be onsite four days a week.
