Job description

TekPro Support Services, LLC (TSS) is seeking a Procurement Specialist Level II (Closeout Contracting) in Alexandria, VA to support our mission at Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (a Department of Defense client supporting the Pentagon and DoD "Fourth Estate" agencies).ย Work will involve a hybrid telework arrangement (1 or 2 days a week in-office at the Mark Center in Alexandria VA, subject to change). Public Trust level clearance is required.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform contracting closeout activities for a wide variety of federal contracts on behalf of the Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate.
  • Contract Administration Support Services: The contractor shall provide services Contract Administration Support Services for Pre-Award, Post-Award, and Contract Closeout functions for each task.
  • Administrative Contract Modifications: Prepare administrative contract modifications for review and approval to include creating supporting documentation such as a memorandum for records; exercising options and changing pay stations. Ensure all documents are uploaded into the RMA/contract file repository.
  • Resolve CDRs/Invoice Issues: Assist in resolving invoice payment issues in WAWF/DFAS in collaboration with assigned CORs. Assist the Contracting Officer with resolving contract discrepancies reports (CDRs). Coordinate with program personnel for receipt and acceptance of contract deliverables when necessary and recommend to the CO whether payment should be authorized. Ensure all documents are complete and uploaded into the RMA/contract file.
  • Contract Closeout: with all assigned close-out of contracts, perform obligation/disbursement reconciliation activities; coordinate with program personnel for receipt and acceptance of contract deliverables when necessary; prepare all required documentation supporting each contract modification as well as any additional supporting documentation needed to comply with policy and regulation.
  • Records Management: Assist the Operational Divisions by creating new contract file records to include uploading contract-related documents into the RMA as necessary. Communicate completion to the requestor through the single general in-box.
  • Contract Pre-award - Post Award Support: Provide Contract Administration Support Services to WHS-AD for pre-award, award and post-award activities that include acquisition planning, source selection, technical assistance, and administration of FAR-based contracts.

What You Bring:

  • Public Trust level clearance is required.
  • High School Diploma required, Bachelors degree preferred
  • 3 yearsโ€™ of demonstrated experience using the FAR and DFARS - 3 post award contracting experience
  • 2 yearsโ€™ of demonstrated pre-award/award contracting experience procuring products and services utilizing FAR parts 8, 12, 13, and 16
  • Recent experience with contract modification utilizing contract writing software, such as PD2, SPS, Prism, ConWrite, Enterprise Contract Writing Module (ECWM), CON-IT.
