Job Summary:

The Associate Project Manager is an integral member of the project management team responsible for supporting the successful delivery of building development projects of varying size and complexity. Reporting to the Project Manager and Project Director, this role assists in coordinating project activities, managing communications, tracking schedules and budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered in alignment with client expectations, timelines, and company standards. The Associate Project Manager acts as a key liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers in the coordination and delivery of multiple development and construction projects

  • Attend client meetings and assist in determining project requirements and objectives

  • Assist with preparing project proposals, budgets, cash flows, schedules, and project documentation

  • Coordinate project communications, organization charts, meeting minutes, and reporting materials

  • Monitor project progress, schedules, budgets, and quality of work performed by consultants and contractors

  • Effectively communicate project updates, risks, and issues to clients and internal stakeholders

  • Track invoices, expenditures, and support financial administration activities

  • Review field inspection reports and assist with warranty follow-up activities

  • Participate in project start-up meetings and support ongoing project coordination efforts

  • Maintain compliance with Altus Group project management procedures and quality standards
