Job Brief:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Specialist with an initial focus on SharePoint Administration to join our IT team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow their career in IT and enhance their expertise in SharePoint technologies. The Junior IT Specialist will support the daily administration and management of our SharePoint environment while assisting with general IT tasks as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • SharePoint Administration:
  1. Support the configuration, management, and maintenance of SharePoint Online or SharePoint Server environments.
  2. Assist with user access control, site collection creation, and site structure management.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
  4. Monitor system performance and usage reports to ensure optimal SharePoint functionality.
  5. Collaborate with the development team to implement custom solutions and workflows in SharePoint.
  6. Manage content types, metadata, and document libraries to maintain an organized SharePoint environment.
  • General IT Support:
  1. Provide technical assistance and support to end-users on various IT issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
  2. Assist with system updates, patch management, and software deployments.
  3. Participate in troubleshooting and resolving IT incidents and service requests.
  4. Assist with configuring and maintaining hardware and software systems.
