You need excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills to be a successful IT analyst.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an IT analyst, and why are they important?

To thrive as an IT Analyst, you need strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of information systems and business processes, often supported by a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with data analysis tools, SQL databases, and IT service management systems like ITIL is typically required, with certifications such as CompTIA or ITIL being advantageous.
