Assess and apply new solution designs against defined architecture strategies, principles, policies and standards in alignment with the enterprise architecture strategies. Define new architecture solutions where needs are identified. Define complex application and solution designs for specific systems in coordination with project teams. Define and develop architecture deliverables, artifacts and building blocks by applying architecture principles by using an architecture development framework and methodology that enables the organization to transform the design of its systems in a controlled manner in response to business needs. Define component breakdown of the system, perform functional allocation to components, and establish interface between systems and among system components. Compose and decompose a system into component parts using Solution Functional Fit analysis to study how well the components were designed and configured to interact holistically to meet business requirements. Develop standards, design patterns and configurations that can be reused as building blocks for other solutions.
