PBGH currently has a great opportunity for a Product Development Manager. The Product Development Manager will coordinate and manage the development and approval needs for our brands. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Create and manage time and action calendar
  • Create and manage sample fabric tracking chart
  • Source new fabrics for design
  • Maintain fabric and trim library
  • Communicate daily with overseas vendors, mills, factories and sample rooms
  • Create line lists
  • Request samples from vendors as needed
  • Make bulk approval comments on lab dips, strike offs, fabrics and trims
  • Maintain product approvals library
  • Resolve development and bulk production issues
  • Adjust to changing business needs/priorities
  • Understanding of market trends
  • Attend all relevant department, brand and cross-functional meetings
  • Lead cross functional meetings and follow up on issues
  • Liaise with design, fabric R&D, production, and sales
