NOW HIRING: Direct Care Staff – ISS Program
 
Blessings Fundamental Day Service (ISS)
  Pflugerville 
Position Overview
Blessings Fundamental Day Service (ISS – Individualized Skills & Socialization) is seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Care Staff to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a structured day program setting.
This role focuses on helping participants build life skills, social skills, and independence in a safe, engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
 
  •  Provide direct care and supervision to participants 
  •  Assist with daily living and life skills training 
  •  Facilitate group and individual activities 
  •  Support social interaction and community engagement 
  •  Maintain a clean, safe, and structured environment 
  •  Complete required documentation and daily notes 
  •  Follow all agency policies, including transportation and safety procedures

Schedule
 
  •  Monday – Friday 
  •  Daytime hours (ISS closes at 3:30 PM) 

Qualifications
 
  •  Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred 
  •  Compassionate, patient, and reliable 
  •  Strong communication skills 
  •  Ability to follow policies and documentation requirements 

Requirements
 
  • Must have a High School Diploma, GED, OR pass an equivalent competency test
  •  Valid Driver’s License (preferred for transportation duties) 
  •  Ability to pass background check and OIG screening 
  •  CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) 
  •  Must complete required training and orientation
