Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $33.81hr - $40.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant labor relations experience.
  • Proficiency with web-based databases and Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in Universal City, CA.
  • Ability to contribute from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise internal clients, including management and human resources, regarding union contract compliance for bargaining units and/or assigned topics.
  • Advise internal clients regarding discipline of union employees, including just cause standards, as applicable, investigations, and rights to union representation.
  • Responsible for handling union grievances through arbitration phase as assigned.
  • Serves as the initial point of contact for union inquiries and concerns; triage issues, conduct research, provide responses, facilitate labor-management meetings.
  • Support and execute union contract administration.
  • Support collective bargaining, including preparation, research, contract implementation, and drafting as assigned.
  • Provide training to HR and managers on assigned topics.
  • Provide additional support to Labor & Employment department as needed.
