Description

Role Summary: Operations dispatch supervisors oversee the lead dispatchers, and other sub-departments in their section to ensure smooth operation and guest safety.

Duties: 

  • Willingness to accept the most effective role. 

  • Providing guests with exceptional service.  

  • Delegates tasks to lead dispatchers. 

  • Ensuring guest safety.  

  • Ensures that staffing requirements are met and use staff efficiently.   

  • Maintaining high standards of safety. 

  • Ensure that everyone's timecard is accurately representing their hours worked 

  • Ensure that time off requests are applied to the schedule, shift trade requests are reviewed and accepted/denied promptly 

  • Answering Dispatch phone to keep track of call ins, people who are late, and documented 

  • Keeping track of occurrence points allotted and providing/delegating verbal warnings promptly 

  • Making sure we have more than enough copies for the operating week. 

  • Answering Dispatch phone and answering questions about the park 

  • Checking for proper uniform before employee clocks in and providing uniform items needed at any point in the day 

  • Sending staff to the sections that need help as they clock in 

  • Updating staff Excel sheets, scheduling info, and communicating regularly with staff services for anything they need. 

  • Assist staffing manager in creating schedules, approving time off requests, and approving shift trades/drops/pick ups. 

  • Giving verbal or written warnings to staff members needing corrective counseling. 

  • Overseeing Dispatch employees, ensuring dispatch staff is accomplishing their assignments and meeting their responsibilities efficiently. 

  • Creating Excel/Word documents to assist with managing or informing staff. 

  • Communicate with EMS, Police, Supervisors, and Management as needed to comply with our Facilities EAP 

  • Effectively learn radio codes and communicate via radios 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be at least 18 years old. 

  • Must be friendly and outgoing with a high customer service acumen. 

  • Required to maintain established performance levels.  

  • Must successfully complete a swim-test and lifeguard certification course. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Walking to and from your entire assigned area, climbing ladders and stairs when necessary. 

  • Standing with or without movement for extended periods of time. 

  • Exposure to multiple, high-stress situations at any given time. 

  • Sitting for extended periods of time  

  • Bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting heavy objects. 

  • Must be able to push up to 50lbs and lift up to 20lbs. 

  • Must frequently use hands/fingers to handle tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
