Familiarity with basic home systems (plumbing, electrical, security) and communication tools is typically required. As an Island Sitter, your daily responsibilities often include overseeing property maintenance, ensuring the security of the island, and managing any guest accommodations or visitor logistics. Flexibility and self-sufficiency are essential, as you may work independently or with a small team in a remote environment. Regular communication with the island's owner or management is also important to address any urgent issues quickly.
