Sr. ServiceNow Developer - Engineer Location: Chantilly, VA 20151 Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly (FS Poly may satisfy where accepted by the customer) Certifications: Required; Security+ CE at minimum where applicable, or other certification aligned to the assigned DoD 8140 work role Position Summary
The Senior ServiceNow Developer/Engineer will design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and sustain ServiceNow solutions supporting enterprise engineering and operational workflows. This role requires deep ServiceNow expertise, strong systems integration skills, and the ability to deliver secure, maintainable solutions in an Agile DoD environment.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Design, configure, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and sustain ServiceNow capabilities supporting enterprise engineering and operational workflows.
โ€ข Translate customer requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions, workflows, integrations, data structures, and automation.
โ€ข Develop and maintain interfaces between ServiceNow and enterprise/cloud platforms, engineering tools, and custom systems.
โ€ข Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex platform, integration, workflow, and performance issues.
โ€ข Apply secure development, configuration management, testing, and release-management practices in a controlled DoD environment.
โ€ข Break down technical requirements into actionable Agile/Jira stories and support iterative delivery.
โ€ข Create and maintain architecture, configuration, operating, troubleshooting, and user documentation.
โ€ข Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and customer stakeholders to ensure end-to-end solution effectiveness. Required Qualifications
โ€ข 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in a STEM discipline.
โ€ข Current DoD 8140 qualification/certification appropriate to the assigned DCWF work role and proficiency level. Acceptable examples for this position may include: CompTIA Security+ CE, ISC2 CISSP, ISC2 SSCP, CompTIA SecurityX (formerly CASP+), ISC2 CCSP. Final acceptability is subject to the current DoD 8140 Qualification Matrix and prime contractor/customer work-role requirements.
โ€ข Current and active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph. Mandatory at time of submission.
โ€ข Must possess ServiceNow Certifications.
โ€ข Demonstrated expertise as a senior ServiceNow engineer delivering similar scope projects.
โ€ข Understanding of all security related requirements in secure environments.
โ€ข Familiar with Agile Methodologies and ability to accurately decompose tasks for Jira stories.
โ€ข Expert troubleshooting and solutioning skills.
โ€ข Strong technical documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications
โ€ข Advanced STEM degree or role-relevant technical certifications.
โ€ข STEM degree.
โ€ข Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
โ€ข Experience configuring tools providing end to end visibility, monitoring, and analytics (e.g. AppDynamics, DynaTrace).
โ€ข Integration of virtualized applications and application streaming or layering techniques.
โ€ข Experience leading and overseeing a total system perspective including technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud services, infrastructure and security domains.
