Job Summary: Lifescape Colorado is seeking an experience Water Manager to join our growing Irrigation Division. The Water Manager is responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of irrigation systems to identify both essential repairs required for system functionality and recommended improvements that enhance performance, efficiency, and sustainability. This role ensures precise documentation, clear communication, and the preparation of detailed inspection reports and
proposals that support client understanding, Garden Manager collaboration, and departmental revenue objectives. Representation needs to align with Lifescape Colorado's quality standards and the five service non-negotiables.
Core Responsibilities:
1. System Inspections & Analysis

โ€ข Conduct detailed irrigation system inspections and reports across assigned properties.
โ€ข Identify and document all functional repairs (necessary for system operation)
โ€ข Identify and document all optimal repairs (recommended for performance, efficiency, or
water conservation)
โ€ข Ensure all findings are recorded with clear, detailed descriptions and corresponding
photos in Smartlink inspection report.
โ€ข Evaluate system performance and water distribution uniformity to make
recommendations for improvement.
โ€ข Accurately document all work performed, including detailed service notes and photos or
repairs or completed tasks when appropriate.
โ€ข New system set-up and initial system evaluation.
2. Proposal Development:
โ€ข Create accurate, detailed and professional proposals outlining repair needs and
recommendations.
โ€ข Clearly Communicate the "what", "why" and "value" behind each proposed repair or
upgrade.
โ€ข Ensure all materials, labor and pricing align with company standards and current costs.
Review proposals with the Area Manager for accuracy and clarity when needed.
3. Communication & Collaboration
โ€ข Coordinate with the Area Manager and Irrigation Coordinator to prioritize inspection
schedules and follow up work.
โ€ข Communicate findings, proposals, and recommendations clearly to the Garden Managers
and Leadership.
โ€ข Support technicians by clarifying proposal scope and ensuring proposals reflect accurate
details and have adequate documentation to assist with work being completed.
โ€ข Provide timely updates on proposal status, client approvals and work completion.
โ€ข Availability for On Call emergency calls when assigned.
4. Technical Expertise
โ€ข Maintain strong understanding of irrigation systems, hydraulics, electrical diagnostics,
and controller programming.
โ€ข Evaluate controller programming for seasonal efficiency and make necessary
adjustments.
โ€ข Stay up to date on new irrigation technology and water management strategies.
โ€ข Assist in training Technicians and Garden Managers on proper system evaluation and
programming techniques
โ€ข Ensure accurate zone charts and asset documentation and mapping in Smartlink.
โ€ข Ability to run properties in "Smart Mode" and know how to set up smart mode
parameters in Smartlink.
5.Quality Assurance
โ€ข Review Completed repairs for accuracy and effectiveness when necessary
โ€ข Ensure all system recommendations align with company standards, client goals and
sustainable water use practices
โ€ข Provide feedback to the Area Manager on recurring issues or system performance trends.

โ€ข Proposal Accuracy: 100% accuracy in scope, pricing and documentation
โ€ข Inspection Quality: 100% completion of detailed reports with notes and photos.
โ€ข Communication: Same day Aspire updates and Smartlink proposal submissions.
โ€ข Revenue Contribution: Consistent achievement of department enhancement and repair
sales goals.
โ€ข Client Satisfaction: Positive feedback on clarity and professionalism of proposals.
