Location: Raleigh / Triad Area, NC
Compensation: $110,000 โ€“ $120,000 annually

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established, Charlotte-based commercial landscaping company with over 40 years of experience serving developers and property management professionals. They specialize in landscape maintenance, design and installation, irrigation, and stormwater management, with offices across multiple markets in the Southeast.

They are currently seeking a Division Manager to lead their Raleigh / Triad area team across landscape maintenance, landscape installation, construction and development operations, and Stormwater Control Measures (SCM). This role provides leadership for assigned branches and service lines, develops strong teams, drives client satisfaction and retention, manages financial performance, and supports profitable growth.

What You'll Do

  • Provide overall leadership and accountability for operational, financial, and strategic activities across the Triad region, including landscape maintenance, installation, construction, SCM services, staffing, safety, production, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Promote a culture focused on service, quality, safety, communication, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Set clear direction for branch and service line leaders, ensuring team members understand division, branch, and company goals
  • Develop and execute business strategies aligned with company goals
  • Build, coach, and retain strong teams by developing managers, supervisors, and frontline employees through clear expectations, performance feedback, and growth plans
  • Manage division financial performance to ensure financial targets are met
  • Partner with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, labor management, cost controls, profitability targets, and P&L accountability
  • Review revenue, direct expenses, branch overhead, operational metrics, and overall financial health on a regular basis
  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention by developing deep relationships with key customers
  • Coach team members to provide excellent service, proactive communication, responsive issue resolution, and consistent follow-through with customers
  • Coordinate teams across maintenance, installation, enhancement, irrigation, and SCM-related work to deliver quality service
  • Oversee landscape maintenance services, including recurring maintenance programs, enhancements, horticulture, irrigation coordination, and seasonal services
  • Oversee landscape installation and construction operations, ensuring projects are planned, staffed, scheduled, budgeted, and completed safely and efficiently
  • Support SCM operations, including inspections, maintenance, repairs, compliance-driven services, and customer communication related to stormwater assets
  • Partner with sales and business development teams on proposals, estimates, renewals, enhancement opportunities, and new business pricing
  • Identify growth opportunities including market expansion, acquisitions, service enhancements, and new business in the Raleigh / Triad area
  • Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and applicable local and state regulations
  • Oversee equipment, fleet, inventory, facilities, and resource planning to support safe, efficient, and profitable operations
  • Partner with HR and operations leadership on staffing, recruiting, onboarding, training, retention, succession planning, and employee engagement

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, landscape management, construction management, operations, horticulture, environmental sciences, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  • 7 to 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in landscaping, construction, stormwater, facilities services, or a similar field-based industry
  • Proven experience leading managers, supervisors, and large hourly workforces in a labor-intensive environment
  • Strong knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance, landscape installation and construction practices, and SCM inspection, maintenance, and repair services
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, labor productivity, job costing, operational metrics, and full or partial P&L responsibility
  • Demonstrated ability to balance customer service, employee engagement, safety, quality, and profitability
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Aspire, with hands-on experience in scheduling, timekeeping, and operational reporting tools, alongside strong skills in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and seasonal peaks as required
  • Must obtain a Certified Stormwater SCM Inspection license within 60 to 90 days of employment
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, including background check and drug test
