Irregular Warfare Analyst
The Ascendancy Group's Missionย 

To be the unequaled provider of special operations forces (SOF) and Intelligence Community focused technical, service, and training-based solutions.ย 


Overviewย 

The Irregular Warfare Analyst position is a full-time position supporting joint, interagency, and special operations forces executing Irregular Warfare and influence operations globally as part of Operations in the Information Environment (OIE).ย 


This position is contingent upon contract award.


Security Requirement:ย 

TS/SCI or TS w/SCI Eligibilityย 


Roles and Responsibilities:ย 

  • Synchronize operational planning, targeting, and information environment activities across multiple domains to enable campaign in competition, crisis, and conflict.ย 

Required Qualifications:ย 

  • Operational experience in Irregular Warfare, Information Operations, Special Operations, or Influence Operations.ย 
  • Expertise in irregular warfare disciplines: unconventional warfare, counterinsurgency, proxy conflict, partner engagement, foreign internal defense, and information environment operations.ย 
  • Experience integrating non-kinetic capabilities into operational and campaign-level planning.ย 
  • Familiarity with SAP, STO, and ACCM capabilities and their integration into IW campaigns.ย 
  • Experience applying advanced targeting analysis methodologies (F3EAD, CARVER, SNA).ย 
  • Working knowledge of intelligence community processes, databases, and analytic tools.ย ย 

Preferred Qualifications:ย 

  • Prior experience with USSOCOM, SOCPAC, CENTCOM, INDOPACOM, or CCMD J39.ย 
  • Graduate of Joint or Service Irregular Warfare professional military education programs.ย 
  • Knowledge of JOPP, MDMP, MCPP, and joint operational design processes.ย 
  • Experience with interagency partners such as CIA, State Department, FBI, DHS, or Treasury.ย 
  • Degree in national security, strategy, or military operations.ย
