What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Ironclad?

To thrive as an Ironclad, you need hands-on experience and expertise in welding, metal fabrication, and structural assembly, often gained through vocational training or an apprenticeship in ironworking or shipbuilding. Familiarity with heavy machinery, technical drawings, measuring instruments, and safety certifications like OSHA are generally required. Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and effective communication help ironclads excel in often physically demanding and collaborative environments. These skills ensure the construction of safe, durable metal structures and efficient project completion under strict industry standards.

What are the typical work conditions and environments for an Ironclad?

Ironclads often work in industrial or construction settings such as shipyards, steel fabrication facilities, or on-site infrastructure projects. The job may involve exposure to loud noises, heavy machinery, heights, and varying weather conditions for outdoor assignments. Protective gear and strict adherence to safety protocols are standard to ensure worker safety. Teams are usually collaborative, and you'll find yourself coordinating closely with other tradespeople, project managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality metalwork. Candidates should be comfortable working in dynamic environments where adaptability and a strong safety mindset are essential.
