This full-time remote position offers an annual salary range of $100,000 to $105,000, complemented by a robust benefits package designed to support your professional and personal needs.

About the Organization

Iron Will Mental Health Clinic is a reputable outpatient mental health facility located in Auburn, Washington, dedicated to improving the mental health and overall well-being of our community. Our mission is to provide access to trusted, affordable, and personalized mental healthcare tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. At Iron Will, we strive to foster a supportive and collaborative environment where both our clients and our team members can thrive.

Work Environment

This role is designed to be fully remote, allowing for flexibility while still ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of care. You will be part of a team that values communication and collaboration, utilizing various digital platforms to coordinate care and share insights. Our outpatient model focuses on delivering individualized therapy, enabling you to work one-on-one with clients to affect meaningful change in their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a positive, trusting rapport with patients through compassionate engagement and active listening.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans that address specific issues and adapt as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
  • Conduct regular therapy sessions, both individual and group, providing continuous support and making adjustments to treatment strategies as required.
  • Assess and measure patient progress, respecting the unique journey of each client and adjusting goals accordingly.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and emotional well-being of patients experiencing acute distress.
  • Coordinate with external specialists and resources, guiding clients to additional services when the need arises.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, couples navigating relationship issues, and families seeking support for systemic difficulties. Your expertise will be crucial in developing effective therapeutic relationships that empower clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their mental health.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • A valid mental health license in the state of Washington (LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT) is essential for practice.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient setting is a prerequisite for this role.
  • Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to engage and motivate clients effectively.
  • Proficiency in technology, including word processing, email systems, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records (EMRs), to ensure efficient care and documentation.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the adaptability to manage changing priorities.
Preferred Experience

Experience in specialized therapeutic modalitiesโ€”such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed approachesโ€”would be highly regarded. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote client management tools will enhance your impact within our clinic.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary between $100,000 and $105,000.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and life insurance plans, ensuring you have the health support needed.
  • Disability insurance for peace of mind.
  • Generous paid time off policy to promote a healthy work-life balance.

At Iron Will Mental Health Clinic, we believe in nurturing the professional development of our staff. You will have access to ongoing training opportunities, professional workshops, and the potential for career advancement into supervisory or specialized roles over time. The clinic supports initiatives for certification in advanced therapeutic techniques, encouraging you to expand your skill set to better serve patients.
