What is an Iraq military base?

An Iraq military base is a facility located within Iraq that is used by the Iraqi Armed Forces or, in some cases, by foreign military forces (such as the U.S.-led coalition) for defense operations, training, logistics, and troop accommodation. These bases vary in size and function, ranging from large, well-fortified compounds to smaller outposts. They play a crucial role in national security, military strategy, and regional stability. Military bases typically include barracks, command centers, equipment storage, and sometimes airfields or helipads. Access to these bases is restricted and governed by military protocols.
