Job description

Position is the entry-level position that is responsible for the basic assembly of the standard and volume-based products. Work Schedules: Normal work hours are 5:30 am to 4:10 pm. Normal workdays are Monday - Thursday. Lunch period is 40 minutes per shift, unpaid. Breaks are two 15-minute per shift. Primary Function: Solder various electronic components, wires and other electronic parts to designated locations on printed circuit boards to IPC regulations. Assemble microcircuits requiring fine hand assembly with the use of microscopes. Incorporation of engineering change to new and existing products at board level. Record activity into a database. Review ERP for proper configuration control specifications. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The following is a list, though not all inclusive, of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be in the referenced position. Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 is required. Ability to pass and obtain an IPC-610 certification is required. Basic mechanical skills. Basic computer skills. High level of attention to detail. Ability to read blueprints. Ability to interface effectively with internal customers. Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization. Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The education and/or experience listed below represents the knowledge, skill or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) 2+ years soldering experience required. 2+ years related defense manufacturing experience required. IPC-610 certification preferred. Physical Demands: The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
