About the Role


The IP Network Solutions Engineer will interface with customers to identify their needs and collaborate with various engineering and operation departments to ensure a plan is in motion to improve the customer's experience. This position requires high-level thinking to architect solutions across a variety of hardware and a passion for focusing and committing.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored satellite communication solutions.
  • Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to determine the best solutions for new customers
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of Quvia systems on maritime verticals.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions and services provided.
  • Act as a technical advisor to customers, offering guidance on best practices and optimal usage of satellite communication systems.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of satellite systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in Quvia systems.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and service delivery, to ensure successful project execution.


What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in satellite communications, with a focus on maritime industry.
  • At least 3-5 years of previous experience with core IP and network engineering
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of managing virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM.
  • Experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and SD-WAN platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco (Meraki/Viptela), or similar enterprise solutions.
  • Satellite communication (SATCOM) systems knowledge and experience is a plus.
    A thorough understanding of computer hardware, and operating systems.
  • Proficiency in networking concepts, IP routing, and RF engineering.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management experience and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
