Lead Network Engineer Roles and Responsibilities: The role requires a flexible, senior/lead engineer who is capable of managing multiple work streams in a fast paced enterprise environment. Deploy IP/MPLS infrastructure and services covering the installations, testing, cutover, migration and handover ¿ Designing & Implementing IP MPLS based Solutions ¿ Ability to design, manage a WAN, LAN network with complex network technology. ¿ Responsibility for various stages of the network development. This may include: design, analysis, configuration, testing and fixing issues with the network infrastructure or application components ¿ Troubleshooting of Catalyst / Nexus switches, Wireless controllers, Access Points, ASR / ISR routers. ¿ To assist in the planning, design, and implementation, of data network projects. ¿ Provide technical support for projects as required ¿ Carrying out investigations into operational problems or developments and develop and prepare solutions, individually or as a member of a project team. ¿ Configure and utilize a variety of network management tools Skills required: ¿ Should have 12+ years of experience. ¿ Cisco Networking Skills, ideally to CCNP level ¿ Knowledge and hands on experience in Cisco ASR9k, Cisco IOS XR, OSPF, MPLS and BGP ¿ Knowledge and hands on experience in OSPF, ISIS, BGP, IP MPLS in enterprise or service provider networks ¿ Strong understanding of telecom networks. ¿ Excellent skills in Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches, firewalls. ¿ Security: Firewalls, VPNs, Authentication (TACACS, , PKI), 802.1x, NAC (Cisco Client). Also should have excellent implementation and troubleshooting skills for Check point firewall & Symantec Proxy. ¿ Load Balancers: Must have hands on experience on Citrix Load balancer. Experience on F5, NetScaler would be an added advantage ¿ Virtualization: VMware and Hyper V (its is a huge plus but not mandatory) ¿ Knowledge about latest technology areas SDN/SD WAN: VMware NSX, Nuage would be an added advantage but not mandatory Certifications: ¿ CCNA (R&S) ¿ CCNP (Preferred)
