Job description

Chandler Nursing Center, a nursing facility in Chandler, Texas, is seeking a full time ADON to join the team

Responsibilities
  • Assist the DON in working with management staff including the Administrator, and Consultants in planning all aspects of the nursing operation, including setting priorities and job assignments.
  • Monitor each unitโ€™s activities as assigned, communicate policies, evaluate performance, provide feedback, coach, and discipline as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, and medical team.
  • Conduct regular rounds to monitor the delivery of nursing care, effective coordination with other support services, cleanliness and appearance of the residents, and morale of staff and to ensure residentโ€™s needs are being met in a proactive manner.
  • Management in Infection Control (IP certification a plus).
Requirements
  • Must possess valid unencumbered, RN State License.
  • 5 years of nursing home experience
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing and rehab care center.
