Job description

Technical Support & Account Operations


This role is primarily focused on managing the operational performance of assigned client fleets and relationships (approximately 70%), with the remaining time dedicated to hands on field installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting work (approximately 30%). The exact mix may vary based on client needs and deployment schedules.

• Own the ongoing monitoring and operational performance of assigned client equipment fleets, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.

• Act as the primary operational contact for assigned clients, managing ongoing communication related to fleet health, issues, resolutions, and next steps.

• Proactively contact clients to communicate issues, mitigation steps, resolutions, and follow-ups.

• Effectively explain technical issues and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

• Coordinate with internal teams as needed to escalate, track, and resolve issues, maintaining accountability for outcomes on assigned client accounts.

• Ensure a high-quality customer experience by responding promptly and professionally to client needs.

• Maintain accurate records related to fleet performance, incidents, and resolutions. Field & Technical Operations (in support of assigned client fleets)

• Install and commission proprietary IoT equipment at client points of purchase.

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and component replacements on assigned equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and connectivity issues.

• Conduct routine inspections and identify equipment or locations requiring maintenance or repair.

• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and issue resolution.

• Order and manage tools, parts, and materials required for maintenance and repairs.

• Perform light site-related tasks directly related to equipment installation, operation, or service activities.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a hands on approach, with excellent mechanical and customer service skills.

• Knowledge of general electrical maintenance and repair.

• Basic electronic and connectivity knowledge (IoT experience is a plus).

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Basic analytical skills and comfort creating and managing maintenance or performance reports.

• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.

• Ability to manage work independently, prioritize tasks across multiple client accounts, and deliver agreed-upon outcomes with minimal day-to-day supervision.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams as needed.

• Related technical, field service, or customer support experience preferred.
