We are looking for an experienced Information Security Officer to strengthen our cybersecurity capabilities and drive local security initiatives across IT, OT and cloud environments. Your expertise will help protect critical infrastructure, support regulatory compliance and enable the secure growth of our business.

What you will do:
  • Define and drive the local information security strategy in alignment with group security policies and business priorities.
  • Develop and implement the IT and OT security roadmap for Volkswind.
  • Oversee security operations and coordinate the collaboration with the SOC provider, including threat detection, incident response and security monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and standards using Microsoft security solutions such as Defender, Sentinel and Intune.
  • Lead audits, penetration tests, vulnerability management activities and risk assessments.
  • Establish and maintain security processes and documentation, including ISMS, incident management and access management procedures.
  • Monitor technological and regulatory developments such as ISO standards and NIS2 requirements and translate them into practical actions.
  • Support internal teams and external partners in strengthening security awareness and building a strong security culture.
What you bring & who you are:
  • A degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a similar field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in information security, cybersecurity or a comparable role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft security solutions including Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID and Intune.
  • Experience with SOC environments, SIEM tools and incident response processes.
  • Good understanding of OT environments, industrial systems and IoT security challenges.
  • Experience with information security frameworks and compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, ISMS or NIS2.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across different countries and functions.
  • Fluent communication skills in English and German; French language skills are a plus.
