Job description

Good, we're building something big in the UK&I – and we're looking for an experienced Principal Technical Consultant to establish and grow a brand-new Technology Alliances function.

Teltonika is a global leader in Internet of Things (IoT), with over 25 years of innovation, operations in 27+ countries, and more than 2,500 employees worldwide.

Following the launch of our UK operation in 2024, we're continuing to invest heavily across our IoT portfolio. This newly created role will play a pivotal part in developing strategic partnerships with leading UK professional services organisations, helping position Teltonika's IoT technologies at the centre of digital transformation programmes across multiple industries.

As the first hire within this new function, you will have the unique opportunity to build and lead an entirely new business function. Reporting directly to the CEO UK & Ireland, you will play a pivotal role in shaping its future direction and building a high-performing team. This role offers a genuine opportunity to influence the strategic growth of Teltonika UK & Ireland while developing into a senior commercial leadership position.

Location: Salford, Greater Manchester, UK Head Office, Suite G2.1, Building 8, Exchange Quay, M5 3EJ, with regular travel throughout the UK & Ireland.

In this role, you will:
  • Identify, engage and develop strategic technology partnerships with management consultancies, systems integrators, advisory firms and solution providers.
  • Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, including Partners, Directors, CTOs and Heads of Digital Transformation.
  • Position Teltonika as the preferred IoT hardware partner within partner-led digital transformation and technology programmes.
  • Act as the technical subject matter expert across Teltonika's IoT portfolio, including networking, telematics, connectivity and industrial IoT solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with partners to design commercially viable and technically robust IoT solutions.
  • Deliver technical presentations, solution demonstrations, workshops and architecture discussions.
  • Develop alliance-led go-to-market strategies that generate joint pipeline growth and new revenue opportunities.
  • Support the development of commercial models, partnership agreements and value propositions.
  • Work alongside Teltonika's Business Development teams to support partner-led sales opportunities and customer engagements.
  • Act as the bridge between partners and Teltonika's Sales, Technical, Product Development and Marketing teams.
  • Provide market feedback and partner insight to support future product development.
  • Support joint marketing initiatives, customer case studies and partner events.
What we expect of you:
  • Proven experience in a technical consulting, technology alliances, sales engineering or partner-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of IoT hardware, networking, connectivity and solution architecture.
  • Proven experience translating complex technical solutions into clear commercial value propositions.Experience influencing senior decision-makers within professional services organisations, systems integrators or consulting firms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Comfortable leading technical workshops, solution discussions and executive presentations.
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK & Ireland.
