Clarios Connected Services is building the industry's leading ecosystem for battery intelligence, predictive maintenance, and connected energy solutions across automotive, fleet, retail, and OEM channels. The Partnership Manager will play a key role in expanding our ecosystem by developing, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships with OEMs, telematics service providers (TSPs), retail partners, roadside assistance networks, and fleet technology platforms.
This role is responsible for identifying high-value collaboration opportunities, aligning technical and commercial stakeholders, and ensuring that Clarios' connected battery data and digital services create measurable value for partners and end customers.
How you will do it
Partnership Strategy & Development
  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue strategic partners including OEMs, TSPs (e.g., Geotab, Platform Science), retailers, and fleet technology providers.
  • Evaluate partnership opportunities using business cases, TAM analysis, and aligned KPIs (SOH accuracy, alert conversion, reductions in jump starts, warranty reductions).
  • Build and maintain a partner pipeline aligned with Connected Services growth strategy.

Commercial Execution
  • Lead commercial discussions, coordinate pricing proposals, negotiate terms, and support NDA/MSA processes in collaboration with Legal and Finance.
  • Define partnership value propositions for shared customers (fleets, dealerships, retail service networks, OEM service operations).
  • Support new revenue streams including data licensing, subscription services, and joint retail offerings.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, and Legal to ensure successful launch and scaling of partner integrations.
  • Translate partner technical requirements into internal roadmaps and feature requests (e.g., SOH/SOC APIs, installer tools, diagnostic workflows).
  • Manage cross-functional alignment from initial scoping through launch and expansion.

Partner Program Management
  • Own the partner relationship lifecycle: onboarding, integration tracking, KPI reporting, quarterly business reviews, and expansion initiatives.
  • Build shared go-to-market plans, co-selling strategies, and co-marketing assets.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving technical or commercial escalations.

Market & Industry Engagement
  • Monitor industry trends across connected vehicles, fleet telematics, predictive maintenance, EV/12V battery insights, and data ecosystems.
  • Represent Clarios Connected Services at industry events (HDAW, TMC, CES, fleet conferences).
  • Continuously refine competitive intelligence and help shape the long-term strategic roadmap.

What we look for
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances-preferably in automotive, fleet, telematics, mobility, or IoT.

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating contracts and partnership agreements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred
  • Experience working with OEMs, TSPs, fleet service providers, or automotive retail networks.
  • Experience launching technology integrations or data partnerships.
