Cents

Job description

Want to be a part of a team revolutionizing and leading an entire industry with no real competition? The laundry industry is a $40+ billion dollar market, and the Cents platform is making it easier for laundromats, dry cleaners, and all garment care businesses to grow, manage, and understand their business. Backed by top-tier investors like Bessemer, Camber Creek, and Tiger Global, Cents is one of the fastest-growing vertical SaaS companies in the USA, and we’re just getting started. Already profitable and growing incredibly quickly each year, we have entered the absolute best stage of being a startup.

About Cents

Cents is the leading vertical SaaS platform powering the future of garment care, laundry services, and garment-based businesses. Our mission is to give operators the tools they need to run smarter, grow faster, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. We’re a fast-growing startup with a lean, high-performing product organization that works directly with our users, our internal teams, and our engineering partners to deliver highly impactful, customer-obsessed solutions.

Our team is full of passionate technology experts obsessed with supporting and empowering SMBs. We feel the unique responsibility and opportunity we have to elevate an industry. We’re adding great talent to help achieve this mission, and that’s where you come in!

About the Role

We are hiring a Product Manager to lead one of the most critical verticals within our product organization: the end-to-end ownership of all things related to self serve laundry across the different verticals Cents supports. This role owns a broad and highly integrated product surface area spanning device and machine management, firmware-supported hardware integrations, operator business tools, employee workflow applications, customer-facing mobile payments and machine tracking, and mobile tools for route operators servicing multi-location environments such as apartment communities. You will operate at the intersection of software, hardware, and real-world operations — acting as the connective tissue between the core Cents business management suite and the hardware and networked device worlds. This role works closely with engineering (mobile, firmware, backend), hardware teams, leadership stakeholders, distributors, and external operators. This is not a single-product PM role. It is a systems-level role responsible for defining the roadmap and long-term strategy for the self-service experience across multiple user personas: route operators, business owners, employees, and end customers. The work you drive will directly impact device adoption, transaction volume, operator efficiency, and overall scale of the self-service business. If you thrive in technically complex environments, can navigate multiple stakeholder groups, and enjoy building products that connect hardware and software in real-world environments, this role is for you.

We are open to remote work, but employees must work EST hours.

What You\'ll Do
  • Own the strategy and roadmap for Cents’ self-service ecosystem across Cents’ self serve eco-system.
  • Mobile applications for route managers and operators
  • Act as the primary product bridge between Cents and Laundroworks systems, aligning priorities and driving unified execution.
  • Partner closely with hardware and firmware engineers to ensure seamless integration between physical devices and software systems.
  • Collaborate with mobile and backend engineering teams to deliver intuitive, reliable, and scalable solutions.
  • Work with leadership stakeholders and external-facing teams to incorporate feedback from distributor relationships and route operators into product strategy.
  • Translate complex operational workflows into clear product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple product surfaces while maintaining a cohesive long-term vision.
  • Ensure clarity and alignment across internal and external stakeholders through strong communication and roadmap transparency.
  • Measure and improve key outcomes including device adoption, transaction reliability, operator efficiency, and end-customer satisfaction.
  • Define and evolve product capabilities across:
  • - Machine and device management tools
  • - Hardware-integrated software and firmware collaboration
  • - Employee management and workflow applications
  • - Customer-facing mobile app (payments, cycle tracking, machine status)

What We\'re Looking For
  • 4–7+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in SaaS, hardware-enabled software, fintech, or mobile-heavy environments.
  • Strong technical fluency — comfortable working with firmware, hardware integrations, APIs, and mobile engineering teams.
  • Experience owning complex, multi-surface products with multiple user personas.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, leadership, and external partners.
  • Strong roadmap definition and prioritization skills in ambiguous, high-impact environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills — able to clearly articulate product decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in environments that require operational empathy (field teams, distributed operators, physical device ecosystems).Comfortable balancing long-term platform thinking with short-term execution needs.

Why You\'ll Love Working at Cents
  • A high-ownership role with direct impact on company revenue and growth.
  • A lean, scrappy, tight-knit product team that values autonomy, curiosity, and collaboration.
  • The opportunity to build in a growing vertical with highly engaged users and clear product-market fit.
  • Work closely with passionate operators and customers who care deeply about their businesses and rely on Cents to run them.
  • A culture that celebrates initiative, continuous learning, and getting things done.
