Job description:

Looking for an Engineer Software 3 to support our EA-18G Programs. As a member of the EA-18G software team you’ll get to develop software to support our Growler Block 1 and Growler Block 2 programs

This position will serve on-site at Camarillo, CA

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded real-time system software

• Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team

• Resolve software and system defects

• Collaborate with our customer, internal sites and disciplines

• Participate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetings

• Use project dependent tools including:

O Rational Clear Case, ClearQuest, DOORS

o Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence

o Ada, C/C++, C#, Python

o Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux

Basic Qualifications for Engineer Software 3

• BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 5 years of experience; or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 3 years of experience

• Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#

• Knowledge of object-oriented software development

• Ability to function as a member of an integrated team

• Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.)

• US Citizenship required

• DoD Secret Clearance or higher, interim Secret is acceptable

Preferred Qualifications for Engineer Software 3

• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills

• Strong collaborative mindset

• Experience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD program

• Experience programming with Ada language

• Experience programming with C++ language

• Experience with real-time embedded software development

• Experience working in an Agile environment

• Electronic Warfare system development and design experience
