What is the Opportunity? 

The AI Mobile Engineer- IOS is a senior technical implementation role responsible for leading the design and delivery of production-grade agent solutions. Your primary goal is to translate architecture designs into robust, reliable, maintainable implementations while setting engineering standards and providing technical leadership to less experienced engineers on the squad. 

Youare responsible forleading technical implementation of agent solutions; overseeing agent development, integrations, and workflow design from design through production; and providing technical mentorship and leadership to help Agent Engineers grow their capabilities. You serve as the technical anchor of the squad-hands-on enough to solve complex implementation problems, but senior enough toestablishthe standards others follow. 

As a senior engineer, you will work closely with the Agent Architect II to translate designs into code; mentor and support Agent Engineers on implementation approaches and technical decisions; partner with domain strategists and other squad members to ensure implementation aligns with business requirements and architectural principles; and drive continuous improvement of engineering practices and code quality. 

What Will YouDo? 

  • Lead technical implementation of agent solutions; translate architecture designs into production-grade, scalableimplementations 
  • Oversee agent development, integrations, workflow orchestration, and deployment through production 
  • Design and implement agent workflows, integrations with external systems and APIs, and human-in-the-loop controls 
  • Set engineering standards and best practices for the squad;establishcode quality expectations and review standards 
  • Mentor andprovidetechnical guidance to Agent Engineers; help them grow their skills and capabilities 
  • Unblock complex implementation challenges; troubleshoot difficult technical problems and guide others through resolution 
  • Own implementation quality; drive testing, reliability engineering, and defect prevention practices 
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation for agent solutions 
  • Participate in architecture reviews with Agent Architect II; provide implementation feedback on design decisions 
  • Work closely with Domain Strategist and Engagement Manager to ensure implementation aligns with business logic and client requirements 
  • Define monitoring, logging, and observability for agent systems in production 
  • Participate in code reviews and design reviews;establishand maintain high technical standards 
  • Identifyand implement improvements to engineering practices, tools, and processes 
  • Stay current on agent development frameworks, best practices, and emerging agentic AI technologies 
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation; help build organizational capabilities in agent engineering 

What Do You Need to Succeed? 

MustHaves 

  • 3-5+ years of experience building enterprise-grade native IOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI  

  • Experience delivering secure applications in financial services or another regulated industry, including authentication, authorization, confirmations, and sensitive user actions  

  • Strong experience in integrating mobile applications with backend services, APIs, SDKs, and real-time communication technologies  

  • Experience integrating AI-powered, conversational, or chat-based capabilities into native mobile experiences  

  • Demonstrated cross-functional ownership across mobile and backend teams, supported by strong engineering practices such as automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring, and App Store deployment

Additional Job Details

Expected Salary Range: $80,000 - $190,000; we hire into multiple career levels for this role based on a candidate's experience, skills and demonstrated capabilities.
