About this position
SeeScan us seeking an iOS Developer to join our team. This is a fully onsite position located in Kearny Mesa.
Compensation
The salary range for our iOS Developer position is $125,000 to $160,000 annually.
This range represents a good faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization.

In this position, you will
  • Develop, test, and maintain features for iOS applications to support our latest suite of utility locating equipment
  • Integrate the app with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cloud APIs to connect seamlessly with hardware and backend systems
  • Optimize app performance, memory usage, and network efficiency for real-time data streaming
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning sessions
  • Support debugging and troubleshooting, collaborating with QA and hardware teams

Desired skills
  • iOS app development and expert knowledge in the iOS application lifecycle
  • Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit
  • Deep understanding of async/await, Actors, Combine and the evolution of Swift Concurrency
  • Experience with BLE, Location and WiFi libraries
  • Experience with networking libraries (URLSession, WebSockets, SwiftNIO, AlamoFire)
  • Experience with web services (REST, MQTT, OAuth etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of Xcode and Swift Package Manager
  • MVVM and MVC architectures
  • Testing: Swift Testing Framework, XCTest, mocks, automation
  • CI/CD, GitHub and/or GitLab
  • Data persistence (User Defaults, File System, SQLite, CoreData, SwiftData)

Additional, helpful skills
  • Knowledge of TCA and functional programming concepts.
  • Experience using CoreML and other machine learning tools.
  • Knowledge of AWS web services
  • Experience with pair and/or mob programming
