This position is located in office at the Duncanville Branch -219 E Camp Wisdom Rd, Duncanville, TX 75116

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately processing customer transactions, and maintaining a safe and secure working environment. The Customer Service Representative is the face of the company, and a friendly, professional attitude is essential in building customer relationships. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are key to helping customers with their financial needs.

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities

  • Greet customers upon arrival and provide prompt, courteous service.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions accurately and efficiently per Inwood procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Balance cash drawer and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide appropriate information.
  • Refer customers to the appropriate staff for further assistance.
  • Maintain a clean and professional workstation.
  • Adhere to all security procedures and regulations to minimize risk.
  • Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products or services.
  • Cross-sell bank products and services to customers.
  • Monitor customer feedback and provide insights for product and process improvements.
  • Ensures compliance with established Bank policies and procedures. 
  • Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and related laws as they pertain to the Bank Secrecy Act in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Information Program.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately handle and count money.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn banking software programs.
  • Willing to learn banking regulations and procedure.
  • Ability to:
    • Work in a fast-paced environment.

    • Work independently and as part of a team.

  • Prior Teller / Banking Customer Service Representative experience (Preferred)
