Job description

J.P. Morgan Wealth Management is the U.S. wealth management business of JPMorgan Chase & Co. with ~6,000 advisors and $1.3 trillion of assets under supervision. Clients can choose how and where they want to invest - digitally, remotely or in person by meeting with an advisor in one of our more than 5,000 Chase branches throughout the U.S., or in one of our offices.

The Investment Product and Platform team is responsible for curating the investment product offering and enhancing the investment platforms of J.P. Morgan Wealth Management to improve advisor capabilities and client outcomes.We partner with technology, legal, risk, compliance, operations, and other stakeholders to deliver industry-leading solutions.

As an Associate on the Investment Product and Platform team, you will contribute to helping our clients achieve their financial goals and improving the day-to-day experience of our advisors. You will gain exposure to a variety of investment solutions including managed and brokerage accounts, ETFs, mutual funds, alternative investments, structured products, cash and liquidity solutions, insurance and annuity products, and digital investment tools and capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work across different lines of business and client channels including digital, remote, branch, and office-based.
  • Conduct research and analysis on the competitive landscape in wealth management, identifying best-in-class competitors and secular trends.
  • Assist in developing the business case, strategic vision, roadmap, governance framework, and success metrics of relevant opportunities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and support implementation of initiatives that deliver innovative and transformational change.
  • Translate advisor and client feedback into actionable product improvements.
  • Develop subject matter expertise across the investment products and platforms that we support and serve as a trusted resource for cross-functional partners.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • 1+ years of experience in financial services or management consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • A valid and active Series 7 license is required or must be obtained within 120 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
  • If you were registered after October 1, 2018 you must also have a valid and active Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam
  • A valid and active Series66 (63/65) is required or must be obtained within 120 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and develop data-driven recommendations
  • Intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in investment products and wealth management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field or progress towards a CFA or CFP designation
  • Experience in investment project / program management
  • Experience in financial or data analytics
  • Experience with brokerage accounts, annuities, insurance, structured and complex products
