Citizens National Bank has an excellent opportunity available in our Celina market for a Investment Representative. In this role you will be an integral part of the organization responsible for portfolio management, client communication, and client wealth management meetings.

A typical day may include the following:

  • Develops, services, and delivers financial planning to clients.
  • Provides annual client reviews.
  • Assist clients with insurance, retirement, and estate planning.
  • Follows up on bank/firm generated leads.
  • Develops and maintains written systems of their activity.
  • Reviews business trends and advises customers regarding expected fluctuations.
  • Attends sales and trade meetings to develop new business prospects
  • Makes presentations on financial services to groups to attract new clients.
  • Promotes favorable image of the financial institution in all business activities within the community.
  • This position requires travel to outside offices at times to meet with management and staff, however on-site presence is also necessary for regular, successful performance: teamwork, face-to-face interaction with peers/management and the ability to utilize the in-house software and hardware is required. Adherence to the Bank attendance policy is required as an essential function of this position.
  • Must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions: must get along with co-workers or peers without exhibiting behavioral extremes; be able to perform work activities requiring negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field preferred, and appropriate licensure including Series 7 and Series 63 AND 65 (or 66 if not both 63 AND 65) and insurance license.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous investment knowledge and experience is preferred.
  • Stellar communication
  • Sales and public relations skill, as well as interviewing and research skills.
  • Continuing education to remain current in new regulations, products, and changes in laws, etc. is required.
