Responsibilities:

  • Processing, posting, and clearing of transactions related to private debt instruments and alternative investment products
  • Processing income payments, capital calls, distributions, and lifecycle events for private market assets
  • Ensuring accurate and timely month-end closing activities for private debt instruments and alternative investments products
  • Performing monthly reconciliations of private asset holdings, alternative investments products and related cash accounts
  • Generate insights and recommendations by addressing specific technical queries from clients and delivering appropriate solutions.
  • Supporting internal initiatives, system enhancements, and client-specific requirements.
  • Collaborating with investment teams, custodians, and third-party administrators to resolve complex operational issues.
  • Using digital tools effectively to organize, track, and complete work, while supporting automation and digitalization initiatives related to private and illiquid assets
  • Validating and continuously improving controls and quality checks as part of the closing process and internal frameworks

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 or more years' experience in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting OR
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 4 or more years of experience in Investment operations AND
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience working with private debt asset classes and alternative investments products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with investment instruments such as bonds, equities, private debt asset classes and alternative investments products
  • Experience with FSCM, FAM, or TRM modules in SAP Treasury; financial technical skills are an asset.
  • A proactive, solutions focused mindset to support reporting and operational activities.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and evolving Operational requirements.
  • Strong motivation to stay current with emerging technologies, including the practical application of AI features, to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while managing day-to-day priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve operational issues and escalate more complex matters appropriately.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to enhance and standardize processes across regions, leveraging technology, automation, and cross team collaboration to drive efficiency

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed salary range for this position is $82,375 - $134,875, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
