Job description

As an Investment and Retirement Specialist at National Bank, you will support and guide clients in developing investment strategies tailored to their needs. Your determination, your strong network of branch advisors and internal partners and your in-depth knowledge of investment products will be the keys to your success.

Your job:

  • Increase savings in your sector by offering integrated financial solutions aligned with the profiles of existing and new clients.
  • Carry out prospecting to develop your client base.
  • Draw up retirement plans and personalized strategies for your clients.
  • Work closely with financial advisors in branches as a specialist on investment and retirement.
  • Coach the financial advisors on topics such as pension plans, retirement, the tax consequences of a divorce or death, complex retirement products such as LIRAs, LRSPs, RRIFs, and LIFs, as well as annuities, retirement benefits and severance pay.
  • Lead various client conferences on investment and retirement planning issues.
  • Monitor market developments and stay informed on new trends.

Prerequisites :

  • College diploma, university certificate, bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field
  • Mutual fund representative (MFR) licence
