As an Investment Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality investment consulting services to institutional clients. You will support client relationships, contribute to investment analysis and recommendations, and take growing ownership of client deliverables and projects.


What you'll do

  • Support ongoing client relationships by contributing to meeting preparation, materials, and followup

  • Conduct investment performance analysis, risk analysis, peer benchmarking, investment policy reviews, asset allocation studies, and portfolio structure analysis

  • Support investment manager searches and ongoing monitoring through qualitative and quantitative assessments, documentation, and database maintenance

  • Draft clear, concise client reports and presentations tailored to audience sophistication; review Analyst work for accuracy and relevance

  • Manage assigned workstreams across client engagements and special projects, coordinating with investment consulting, actuarial, and broader consulting teams as needed

  • Ensure quality control and service standards are upheld across all deliverables

  • Develop and maintains excellent relationships with clients, investment managers, and other partners through telephone contact and office visits as appropriate

  • Attend internal training sessions to build knowledge of industry topics and trends

  • Mentoring junior Analysts and supporting their professional development

  • Staying current on capital markets, manager trends, governance practices, and regulatory developments

  • Internal initiatives, thought leadership, and process improvement efforts


You have

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field

  • ~10 years of experience in investment consulting, asset management, pension consulting, or a related institutional investment role (equivalent experience in endowment management, insurance asset management, or large corporate treasury considered)

  • Demonstrated experience working with pension plans, endowments, or fiduciary investment arrangements

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and investment-focused analytical tools


Nice to haves

  • CFA designation (in progress or completed)

  • Advanced Excel modeling skills

  • Experience with investment platforms such as Morningstar or eVestment

  • Prior experience mentoring or developing junior investment professionals
