Job Description
The Investment Management practice group at Foster Garvey is seeking an associate with three to five years of experience working with institutional investors or other relevant transactional experience. Candidates located in Seattle will be considered for the position.
The associate will join a team of experienced attorneys and paralegals that provide effective and sophisticated counsel on a broad range of traditional and alternative investment transactions to public and private pension funds, highโnetโworth individuals, family offices, private and public endowments, universities, sovereign entities, and insurance companies.
The ideal candidate will be able to process large, complex documents, possess excellent attention to detail, manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously, be an effective communicator and negotiator, and be comfortable working both as part of a team and independently. The candidate should expect to develop a business and investment skill set.

Job Requirements
- 3โฏtoโฏ5โฏyears of investment management, investment fund, fund formation, or other related transactional experience
- JD from an ABAโaccredited law school and license to practice law
- Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills
- A clientโservice approach and exceptional communication skills
- Enthusiasm to work both as part of a diverse team and independently
- The ability to manage significant individual responsibilities
- Experience working on and managing multiple projects at once
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Salary Range
The annualized salary range for this position is $195,000ย toย $235,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidateโs relevant experience, location, and other jobโrelated factors permitted by law.
