Job description

Job Summary:
NexCore Group is seeking an Investor Relations Intern to join our Denver, CO office for the summer. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical student interested in real estate finance, capital markets, and investor communications. The Investor Relations Intern will support the team in managing investor reporting, preparing materials, and maintaining strong relationships with institutional capital partners. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position will work Monday through Friday (40 hours/week) throughout the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of investor reporting materials, including quarterly and annual reports.
  • Support the creation and formatting of presentation materials, investor updates, and fundraising decks.
  • Help maintain and organize investor databases, contact lists, and communication records.
  • Conduct research on capital partners, market trends, and competitive investment activity.
  • Assist in tracking fund performance metrics, investment summaries, and portfolio data.
  • Support due diligence efforts by compiling and organizing relevant materials.
  • Collaborate with finance, development, and asset management teams to gather data for investor communications.
  • Assist with logistics and preparation for investor meetings and events.
  • Review and proofread materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as needed.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise:
  • Rising junior or senior pursing and undergraduate degree (Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field preferred) - Required
  • Strong interest in real estate, capital markets, and investor relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work with financial and performance data
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills

Compensation
  • Compensation: $22.00 / hour
