1.0 Position Summary

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting warehouse operations by ensuring proper inventory control, material movement, and production support. This position helps maintain inventory accuracy, supports production needs, and ensures materials are available when required.

2.0 Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of the type, quantity, and value of materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies stored in the warehouse.
  • Count, verify, and record inventory using warehouse management systems and/or manual methods.
  • Receive, stock, organize, and issue materials and supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
  • Receive incoming materials and verify shipments for accuracy.
  • Label, store, and organize materials on shelves, racks, or pallets.
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies related to system transactions or operational issues.
  • Notify Production, Purchasing, and Management when inventory or supplies fall below established minimum stock levels.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy while adhering to company procedures and quality standards.
  • Support and comply with the Company's Quality Management System (QMS), safety policies, and all applicable procedures.
