Job Title: Inventory Control Coordinator I
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Coordinator I to join our operations team. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records within an ERP system. This role supports inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of inventory transactions throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and complete systematic cycle counts of inventory components within the ERP system to ensure inventory accuracy
• Perform inventory count requests submitted by internal departments
• Verify physical inventory against ERP system records through daily inventory counts
• Report daily inventory metrics and operational data
• Process low-level inventory quantity adjustments ($0–$500) to resolve discrepancies
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies related to loss, damage, or theft
• Assist with picking and reconciling inventory for transfer orders
• Complete inventory movements within the ERP system for reconciliation and planning purposes
• Support the Quality department with inventory movements and reporting related to Material Review Board (MRB) inventory
• Assist with picking and registering assembly orders within the ERP system
• Provide backup support for shipping and receiving inventory transactions
• Assist with accessory inventory kitting as needed
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Required Qualifications:
• 0–2 years of inventory control, warehouse, or inventory management experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems (ERP/WMS experience preferred)
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented work with a high level of accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience using ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Experience performing inventory cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving processes
• Experience supporting manufacturing or distribution environments
