This role is ideal for a sales professional who is strong in prospecting, customer visits, relationship building, and converting small or occasional purchases into stable monthly business. Experience in stone, cabinets, kitchen & bath, or related building materials is preferred.

About Us

We support fabricators, builders, contractors, remodelers, dealers, distributors, and other trade customers with slabs, prefabricated countertops, vanity tops, tiles, mosaics, façade panels, cut-to-size products, and cabinetry solutions. With factory-direct advantages, strong inventory support, competitive pricing, and responsive service, we help our customers source efficiently, stay competitive, and keep projects moving.

Why Choose BCS?

Global Backing: Backed by the broader Best Cheer platform and capabilities built since 1994, BCS combines local market focus with vertically integrated sourcing, manufacturing, and supply strength.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities with fabricators, contractors, builders, remodelers, and other target customers in the local and surrounding markets.
  • Reactivate dormant accounts and turn inactive customers into recurring purchasing accounts.
  • Conduct regular field visits, customer meetings, and jobsite visits to expand market coverage and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers by understanding their project needs, buying cycles, and product requirements.
  • Promote BCS stone and cabinet products by presenting product advantages, pricing value, delivery speed, and inventory support.
  • Convert small or occasional purchases into stable repeat business by increasing order frequency, customer retention, and share of wallet.
  • Follow up consistently on customer inquiries, samples, quotes, and open opportunities to move prospects through the sales pipeline and close business.
  • Identify new sales opportunities through cold outreach, referrals, market visits, trade relationships, and account development efforts.
  • Coordinate with design support, operations, and management to ensure accurate quoting, design follow-through when needed, smooth order execution, and strong customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of self-generated accounts, building long-term customer relationships and driving repeat business growth.
  • Maintain organized records of customer visits, pipeline status, account activity, and sales progress, and provide regular updates on market feedback and business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, field sales, or account acquisition.
  • Proven ability to prospect, develop new customers, and grow sales through relationship-based selling.
  • Strong communication, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a sales territory, and maintain a consistent customer visit schedule.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with customers and business partners.
  • Experience in stone, cabinets, kitchen & bath, building materials, or related industries is preferred.
  • Existing relationships with fabricators, contractors, builders, remodelers, or related trade customers are a plus.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints, measurements, or project layouts is preferred.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to be added to the company’s vehicle insurance, if required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
  • Experience with 2020 Design or similar cabinet design software is a plus.
  • Ability to occasionally work weekends, attend customer events, or travel within the assigned market, if needed.
