Job description

Job Title: Inventory Clerk
 
Pay Rate: $18 to $20
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Receive incoming inventory from dock or warehouse staff. Verify and update current stock.
  • Issue and transfer required inventory to production, quality, and warehouse locations.
  • Monitor and replenish hardware stocked at point of use in production areas.
  • Organize new inventory—open and break down boxes, build shelving, labeling.
  • Operate pallet jack, scale, hand tools, label maker.
  • Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to stock inventory to shelving; ability to place boxes/bins, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the facility.
 JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Provides prompt, courteous service to all team members and vendors.
  • Ability to perform general cleaning and organizational duties to company standards.
  • Ability to interpret and apply inventory stocking and controlling procedures.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Computer skills required. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office programs—Outlook, Word, Excel.
 EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior work experience with inventory or stock required, i.e. retail, stocking, receiving, warehousing.
