Job description

Description:

Who We Are

Johnson Health Tech is one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing fitness equipment manufacturers, delivering innovative solutions that help people live healthier lives. Through our award-winning portfolio of commercial and residential brands, we serve customers in more than 60 countries worldwide.

Mission Statement

To delight and excite our customers through truly innovative products, unsurpassed quality, and best-in-class customer experience provided by a world-class organization.

Where Accuracy Meets Action

Accuracy matters. As our Inventory Control Specialist, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping finished goods and parts inventory aligned across multiple business units. Reporting to the Fulfillment Manager, you’ll combine hands-on warehouse work with investigation, reporting, and problem-solving to make sure inventory is where it should be—and to determine what happened when it isn’t.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into details, spotting patterns, improving processes, and helping a team stay organized in a fast-moving warehouse environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Own daily inventory control, reconciliation, cycle counts, and related task assignments.
  • Maintain accurate finished goods and parts inventory across multiple business units.
  • Investigate inventory variances, perform root cause analysis, and resolve outbound order discrepancies.
  • Replenish offsite storage locations and maintain inventory reports and metrics.
  • Support returns, scrap, quality, consolidation, and bin-capacity projects.
  • Communicate receiving issues when product arrives incorrectly from vendors or factories.
  • Lead, train, and mentor Material Handler Fulfillment Associate II team members on inventory-related tasks.
  • Pitch in with picking, packing, shipping, receiving, material movement, and warehouse organization as business needs require.

Requirements:

What Will Help You Thrive

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to three years of warehouse experience, including prior inventory control experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A detail-focused mindset with the ability to prioritize and adapt quickly.
  • Basic knowledge of picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes.
  • Ability to use RF scanning and small-package shipping systems.
  • Willingness to learn or operate warehouse equipment, including stock pickers and stand-up forklifts.

Bonus Qualifications

  • An associate degree or equivalent experience and familiarity with SAP.

The Work Behind the Work

This position is based in our climate-controlled warehouse in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. The role regularly involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, and using a computer. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; team-lifting practices are used for heavier products. The environment includes forklift noise and exposure to heights, and safety-toed, closed-heeled footwear is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

Benefits & Perks

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Company-paid life insurance and AD&D coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Paid time off.
  • FSA and HSA options.
  • Employee product discounts, wellness resources, and employee assistance programs.

Equal Opportunity Employer, including Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.
