About the Role:

The Receiver plays a critical role in the retail trade industry by managing the intake and processing of incoming merchandise and shipments. This position ensures that all products received are accurately checked against purchase orders and invoices, maintaining inventory integrity and supporting efficient stock management. The Receiver collaborates closely with warehouse and sales teams to facilitate timely product availability and resolve any discrepancies or damages. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to maintain accurate records and support inventory control systems. Ultimately, the Receiver contributes to the smooth operation of the supply chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction and store performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic experience in inventory management or receiving in a retail or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
  • Familiarity with basic computer systems and inventory software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Receiver or in a similar role within retail trade.
